6" Kalanchoe. A colorful blooming succulent native to Madagascar.

Plant Care:


Prefers bright, indirect natural light. Direct sunlight can cause leaf burn.


Temperature and humidity:

Prefers warm temperatures 60°F to 85°F. Adapts well to most humidity conditions.


Kalanchoes are succulents that are drought tolerant and prefer for their soil to dry out in between waterings. Water thoroughly every 1-3 weeks. If your environment is pretty humid, on the cool side, and / or receives low amounts of light - water less often. Can check the soil's moisture level with a finger.  

General Info:

Kalanchoes may bloom for up to 6-8 weeks and bloom better the warmer and brighter the environment is. To get kalanchoes to rebloom, they require about 14 hours of darkness each day (some use a closet or a box to give them long stretches of darkness at night. You can get kalanchoes to rebloom at any time of the year with the right conditions though they naturally bloom in the spring. Repot every 2-3 years. Toxic to humans and pets if consumed.
