Green Blocks: McKinley Hill- Volunteer Training

Hosted by The Tacoma Tree Foundation

Do you live or work in the McKinley Hill area and want to help bring trees to the community?

The Tacoma Tree Foundation would like to invite you to attend a volunteer training on August 17th at Parable (3502 McKinley Ave, Tacoma, WA 98404) from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM to help us spread the word about the resources available in October 2023 through the Green Blocks: McKinley Hill project. This project is in partnership with the City of Tacoma Urban Forestry Program, and a key outcome of the McKinley Hill Neighborhood Plan.

Trees are critical for Tacoma. They help to reduce and filter stormwater, cool the neighborhood, slow traffic, and help residents create a greener community!

If you are interested in helping to volunteer with Green Blocks: McKinley Hill, please fill out this form and submit it by August 16th. City of Tacoma Government Tacoma Tree Foundation
